中石化苗栗廠傳工安意外 檢修員遭煤炭掩埋亡
中石化苗栗頭份廠區今天(1日)發生工安意外，一名人氣產品排行榜檢修員在檢修煤炭輸送機時，遭輸送帶上的煤炭掩埋，經搶救脫困時已無生命跡象，送醫不治，事故原因仍待進一步調查。
苗栗縣消防局指出，下午1時45分接獲報案，位於頭份市的中石化廠區發生工人遭煤炭掩埋意外，立即派救護人車及器材車趕往救援，到場時，發現一名工人受困距離地面約15公尺的運送管道間內，遭煤炭掩埋。
消防局表示，據中石化廠區人員描述，因煤倉內的煤炭輸送機故障，30歲蕭姓檢修員在約15公尺高的運送管道間內檢修輸送帶時，不慎被輸送帶上的煤炭掩埋。
為協助傷者脫困，消防隊請廠區人員以乙炔切割機切開鋼板，並架設滑輪組，以籃式擔架將蕭男由高處送至地面，但當時已呈OHCA(到院前心肺功能停止)，隨即由救護車送往為恭醫院搶救，仍宣告不治。
事發後，中石化主管代表公司慰問家屬，允諾提供必要協助，同時啟動內部調查，希望釐清事發原因。（中央社）
民調沒起色 丁守中坦承戰略錯誤
【台灣醒報記者楊蕓台北報導】在24日國民黨舉辦的大型造勢活動中，台北市長參選人丁守中面對民調沒有起色，公開坦言是他「戰略錯誤」，並解釋他是「刻意」壓低聲量，勤跑基層，至於年輕選民支持度低，「是因為他們還不認識丁守中」，但是，他對自己的選情相當有自信。
國民黨中央24日舉辦台北市輔選督導會報及「反核食公投連署」造勢活動，包括副主席郝龍斌、黨秘書長兼副主席曾永權，以及台北市長參選人丁守中皆出席參加。當丁守中一走入會場，馬上有議員、民眾上前搶握手，直到丁走上台前，台下高喊「小叮叮凍蒜！」的加油聲仍此起彼落，展現十足人氣。
丁守中致詞時表示，最近民調確實是掉了一些，「這是戰略上的錯誤」，他解釋，起初黨內認為民進黨推派姚文智參選，與柯文哲的票會產生橫向流動，所以才「刻意」壓低身段，以測試姚、柯互相批評下，是否造成選票流動，丁守中也相當有自信地說，「表面上我看起來沒有作為，其實這段期間都在全力跑基層，測試後才發現姚柯兩人的橫向流動並不明顯，姚的衝票現象也不強。」
「未來我會雙管齊下，一面勤跑基層，一面主導議題。」丁守中說，最近可以發現柯文哲開始「回防」，跟著勤跑里長基層，但與柯文哲掌握的龐大行政資源相比，自己恐怕只是「兩串香蕉」，他也承認自己在29歲以下年輕人的支持度慘輸柯文哲，但他認為是因為他知名度太弱，「不是他們不支持我，而是因為還沒認識丁守中」，並指未來會加強社群媒體的宣傳，拉近與年輕人的距離。
此外，國民黨推出的「反核食」、「反空污」、「反深澳燃煤電廠」三項公投案，本週起進入第二階段連署，造勢活動上，曾永權與郝龍斌、丁守中也共同簽署反核食公投連署書。郝龍斌痛批民進黨為了達到非核家園火力全開，卻又為了討好日本，不願放棄進口核食，這些攸關民生的公投還需要28萬份連署，他呼籲黨內議員、里長一同號召民眾響應連署，「既能接觸民意，也幫自己打知名度。」
正在藍營營造大團結的氣氛下，新竹縣分裂風暴卻再起。國民黨立委林為洲宣示脫黨參選到底，曾永權受訪時表示，國民黨已經提名楊文科，將來會全力輔選，「呼籲所有新竹縣黨員以大局為重，不要造成親痛仇快」；郝龍斌也向林喊話，「林為洲是個忠黨愛國的好委員，唯有國民黨團結才能爭取勝選」。至於林為洲說，只要吳敦義下台就會回國民黨，對此，郝、曾兩人都沒有多做回應。
