By the time he stepped down to enable a smooth leadership renewal, he had become the world’s longest-serving prime minister. He was Singapore’s senior minister (SM) from 1990 to 2004 and then minister mentor (MM) from 2004 to 2011. As the co-founder and first secretary-general of the People’s Action Party (PAP), he led the party to eight victories from 1959 to 1990, oversaw the separation of Singapore from Malaysia in 1965, and engineered its subsequent transformation from an underdeveloped colonial outpost with no natural resources into a First-World Asian Tiger. He remains one of the most influential political figures in Southeast Asia.
The Papers of Lee Kuan Yew: Speeches, Interviews and Dialogues is a compilation of all the speeches, interviews and press conference presentations delivered by Lee Kuan Yew from 1950 through 1990. It covers four decades, including the period before Lee became the prime minister of Singapore and the period when he served as the prime minister. It consists of ten volumes covering the following years: 1950–1962 (Volume 1), 1963–July 1965 (Volume 2), August 1965–1966 (Volume 3), 1967–1968 (Volume 4), 1969–1971 (Volume 5), 1972–1974 (Volume 6), 1975–1977 (Volume 7), 1978–1980 (Volume8), 1981–1987 (Volume 9), and 1988–1990 (Volume 10).

來自高雄的「悅品飲茶」，自4月1日進駐台北微風南山，推出一系列港式飲茶點心。但是5月31日宣告，因為百貨租期及品牌規劃等因素所以停業，壽命僅有短短的60天。悅品飲茶微風南山店限定的悅品品味籠，一次可吃到5款特色點心，198元。記者陳睿中／攝影 分享 facebook 由MLD所打造的悅品飲茶，在高雄稱為「悅品中餐廳」，為當地的人氣餐廳。4月1日時，悅品飲茶與品牌旗下的悅品擺酒、étage15 ENJOY TABLE等不同型態的餐廳同時於微風南山開幕。其中悅熱門產品過年送禮推薦品飲茶約150坪，設有120個座位，並透過大理石紋桌商品限時商品面、古銅金鳥籠吊燈等元素，打造出清新的打卡風環境。. } }); } 相較於高雄店，台北的悅品飲茶僅提供點心、腸粉、燒臘等料理，點心均採現點現蒸。另還有下午茶時段限定的「悅品品味籠」，可品嚐到針孔蝦餃皇、金牌流沙包，另還有蠔汁金菇餃、黑糖馬來糕、甜菜根蝦餃等點心，每籠198元。其他還有鮮蝦腐皮捲、蘿蔔絲餅等數十款點心，售價自98元起。悅品飲茶粉絲頁才於5月31日中午發文，大力宣傳自家的「蟹籽燒賣皇」，結果隔5小時就緊急發出搬遷公告，表示因為百貨租期及品牌規劃，微風南山店營業至2019年5月32018熱銷產品開店送禮推薦1日，新地點正在籌備中。網友也留網路熱賣商品言表示：「也太突然！」、「來不及吃～」悅品飲茶提供有鮮蝦腐皮捲、蘿蔔絲餅等點心。記者陳睿中／攝影 分享 facebook
表揚60位醫療英雄 奉獻十載不忘初衷
【台灣醒報記者蔡岳宏台北報導】共60名資深典範醫事英雄17日齊聚衛福部，接受衛福部長陳時中表揚！衛福部17日舉辦「第4屆優良暨資深典範醫事人員頒獎典禮」，桃園療養院職能治療師康俊良表示，從事精神醫療27年以來，看盡人生冷暖，也看見自己的使命，期勉自己「勿忘初衷」，他更透露，自己的女兒也跟上他的腳步，選擇就讀職能治療系，要將醫療人員的奉獻精神傳承下去。
「部立醫院除了要提供優質醫療，還得承擔公共衛生政策，須面對『必然的辛苦』，但也彰顯公立醫療機構價值。」陳時中致詞時表示，本次獲獎人員從部立27家醫院2756名藥師、檢驗師、放射師、職能治療師、物理治療師、心理師、營養師、呼吸治療師、語言治療師、聽力師、社工師等11類職業別的人員中，分別以「資深典範獎」、「優良獎」、「閃亮新人獎」3類獎項，頒發給60位得獎者。
榮獲「資深典範獎」桃園療養職能治療師康俊良從事此業務迄今，已邁入第27個年頭。他透過創辦多元復健訓練模式，包含園藝治療、畜牧活動、木工活動、鼓舞心聲樂團等庇護工場，辦理身心障礙者職業訓練，提升病人職能復健成效，連續榮獲桃園市政府頒發「身心障礙者職業重建有功」。獲獎時他透露，自己的女兒也跟上他的腳步，選擇就讀職能治療系，要將醫療人員的奉獻精神傳承下去。
「感謝家人對我熱愛的工作給予支持與包容，也要感謝這一路走來所服務的病人、家人及工作夥伴，讓我在工作時保持初衷。」獲頒「優良獎」的金門醫院物理治療師張儷蓉說，在金門服務已經13年，執行兒童發展聯合評估業務，積極推動離島區早療業務。此外，她辦理院內物理治療師的臨床教學，協助完成醫院評鑑，同時擔任金門縣物理治療師公會理事和幹部，全力協助金門物理治療專業發展。
社會工作員王瑋禎榮獲「閃亮新人獎」，在旗山醫院服務僅僅2年多，已曾榮獲第一屆南山全國醫務社工團體組典範獎，她利用社工專業協助偏鄉民眾在就醫所面臨的問題。王瑋禎坦承，雖然在服務的過程中難免有低潮，但感謝同事及主管鼓勵打氣，及家人精神上的支持，都是讓她得以堅持下去的最大動力。
